Sultan's Delight Middle Eastern Dance Troupe

     for your event!

Our Middle Eastern Dance comprises a variety of music, costume and dance styles.  At our performances you may hear Turkish pop, Upper Egyptian village music and standard Arabic favorites, among others.

Our costumes are rich in detail and chosen to complement the music.  They are an artistic interpretation of traditional Middle Eastern clothing styles.  Depending on the music and costume, various props (such as baskets, brass tea trays, swords, canes, veils) may also be used.  Zils (finger cymbals) are used in all styles. Doumbek (tabla drum), def (frame drum) and tambourine are sometimes used for accompaniment.  The common vocabulary of authentic Middle Eastern dance steps underlies the variety in music and costumes and creates a unique entertainment experience.
